FREE WEBINAR: Thriving as an Empath in Challenging Times

The Crisis Centre of BC is pleased to offer a free webinar to share practical, science-based information about how to build resilience as an empathic or highly sensitive individual.

Ensure that you have a strong start to 2022 by increasing your knowledge around being empathic or highly sensitive, and practice proven techniques for fostering balance, increasing confidence, and cultivating acceptance.

Research demonstrates that Highly Sensitive People are more likely to become ill from taking on the emotional and physical pain of others. Learn how to increase your health and well-being while still providing caring and compassionate support to others.

This 30-minute (free) session will include:

  • Science-based information on the unique nervous system of Highly Sensitive People, including techniques to calm and support yourself
  • An opportunity to try simple and accessible tools that reduce stress and compassion fatigue, and increase well-being
  • Information on the Crisis Centre’s services, including our new online 3-week course, Thriving as an Empath During Challenging Times.

 

Who is it for?

This free webinar is well suited for anybody who identifies as, or thinks they may be an empath or Highly Sensitive Person, or anyone who would like to learn more information about empaths and HSP’s, including how to support them. If you are a Sensitive who is looking to learn techniques for reducing stress, and creating a greater sense of balance and well-being in your everyday life, this free webinar is for you. Ages 16+ are welcome.

Can’t attend live?

We understand that life is busy and sometimes unpredictable. If you can’t attend the live webinar, no worries. You’re welcome to register and do the session by recording on your own schedule, at your own pace and convenience. All registrants will be emailed a link following the session to stream the webinar recording for a limited time.

Facilitator

Alex Bruce is a Telepathic and Emotional Empath. She works as a Health and Wellness Educator, Accredited Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor, and has authored several books. Alex has over twenty five years of experience in coaching and training, and has been teaching meditation and mindfulness to people of all ages and backgrounds for over ten years.
