At the Crisis Centre of BC, volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission. On Friday, August 11, we had a chance to express our gratitude at a vibrant and joyful Volunteer Appreciation Jamboree held at Trout Lake Park. With over 70 volunteers and staff in attendance, the event was a heartfelt celebration of the incredible individuals who contribute their time and passion to our cause.

“Our 2023 Jamboree was so special. Our volunteers are such an integral piece to our organization and having the community support us in having a fun event for them is so meaningful to me,” said Carly Southern, Crisis Centre’s Volunteer Coordinator. “Being able to have such an engaging celebration can have positive ripple effects for years to come. Thank you to every donor who made this event one to remember for our volunteers!”

The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a strong community spirit. Among the highlights were the fantastic prize packages generously supported by local businesses.

Our sincere gratitude to the following businesses whose generosity made the event extra special:

The support of these local businesses played a crucial role in making the event unforgettable. We extend our deepest appreciation to them for their generosity and commitment to our community.

Our mission would not be possible without the support and kindness of people like you. Thank you for making a difference and we look forward to continuing this journey of compassion with you by our side. Donate today
