Here’s how you can get involved locally!
- Attend Mysterious Barricades – a special coast-to-coast concert for suicide awareness, prevention, and hope. (Saturday September 10, 5pm to 6:30pm, UBC Old Auditorium) www.mysteriousbarricades.org
- Host an awareness event or fundraiser at your place of work. Contact us at info@crisiscentre.bc.ca if you are interested.
- Drop by Steveston Tattoo Company in Richmond. 100% of sales from t-shirts and prints on September 9th and 10th are supporting the Crisis Centre.
- Purchase tickets in our Crisis Centre Life Lottery
- Share photos of BC Place, Science World and the Canada Place Sails lit up yellow on September 10th – the international colour of suicide prevention
- Make a donation to support our suicide prevention efforts in British Columbia
- Share our 2017 Rick Blight Leadership in Action for Athletes and Steve Cowan Leadership in Action Scholarship programs with current Grade 12’s
